Playboy Comedy announces June headliners

LAS VEGAS May 17, 2010Award-winning Playboy Comedy announces June 2010 schedule Hosted by Cort McCown and Paul Hughes, all shows take place inside The Lounge at the Palms Casino Resort. A longer lead schedule is listed below as well.

  • June 3 through 5Greg Fitzsimmons
  • June 10 through 12  – Iliza Shlesinger and Mo Mandel
  • June 17 through 19 – Dom Irrera
  • June 24 through 26 – Tommy Davidson

 

Playboy Comedy show times are as follows:

Thursday – 9 p.m.

Friday – 9 p.m.

Saturday – 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

 

Tickets:

Ticket prices are $39.99* (inclusive of taxes) which includes entry into the legendary Playboy Club following the show.

 

*Locals’ will receive a special ticket price of $19.99 for all Thursday shows.

 

 

About Greg Fitzsimmons:

Greg Fitzsimmons is a stand-up comedian, radio host and a television writer and producer. He has won four Daytime Emmys for his work writing and producing “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” He has also written for other well-known comedy shows which include “Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher,” “Cedric the Entertainer Presents,” “The Chelsea Handler Show” and “Lucky Louie.” Fitzsimmons has also been invited as a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Show with David Letterman,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and has had two half-hour specials on “Comedy Central Presents.” He has also been a frequent guest on “The Howard Stern Show” and hosts his own show on Sirius Radio’s “Howard 101.” Fitzsimmons has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City and was awarded the “Jury Award for Best Comedian” at the Aspen Comedy Festival.”

About Iliza Shlesinger:

Iliza Shlesinger is best-known for being the first female and the youngest contestant to win season six of NBC’s “Last Comic Standing.” Shlesinger has performed in notable comedy clubs and festivals throughout the country which include the Improv, the Comedy Store, Laugh Factoy, Comix and the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Her television appearances include “Last Call with Carson Daly,” “Comedy Central Presents,” “Live at Gotham,” “Chelsea Lately” and “The Soup.” Shlesinger also is the host of her own web series “The Weakly News.”

About Mo Mandel:

Mo Mandel first gained popularity as a comedian when he won Comedy Central’s “Open Mic Fight.” Since his win, Comedy Central invited him to perform on “Live at Gotham,” “Comedy Central Presents” and “Reality Bites Back.” Other television appearances include a guest spot on “Chelsea Lately” and “The Late Late Show with Chris Ferguson.” Mandel has also been invited to perform at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He is currently working on developing a sitcom he sold to FX which he is set to star in and executive produce.

About Dom Irrera:

Dom Irrera has had a very successful career as a comedian. He is a six-time nominee for an American Comedy Award. Irrera got his big break in the 1980s when he performed on Rodney Dangerfield’s “Nothing Goes Right” comedy special for HBO. Irrera won two CableACE awards for his stand-up specials for HBO’s “One Night Stand” and for Showtime’s “Full Frontal Comedy.” He has been invited as a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” “The View” and “Oprah.” He has also has his own special on “Comedy Central Presents” and hosted four seasons of Comedy Central’s football show “Offsides.” Irrera was a regular on FOX’s “Damon” and has landed guest spots on popular television sitcoms such as “Seinfeld,” “Becker,” “Everybody Loves Raymond” and “King of Queens.” Irrera has also been invited to perform at notable comedy festivals around the world which include the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Cat Laughs Festival in Ireland and the Melbourne Comedy Festival in Australia.

About Tommy Davidson:

Tommy Davidson began his stand-up career by performing in stand-up clubs throughout Washington D.C., however he did not become a household name until he landed a role as an original star in the well-known variety show “In Living Color.” Since then, Davidson has starred in film roles for “Strictly Business,” “Booty Call,” “Bamboozled” and made a cameo appearance in “Ace Ventura II: When Nature Calls.” Tommy starred in one of the most anticipated films at Slamdance 2010, I Am Comic, with Sarah Silverman, Carlos Mencia, Carrot Top, Jeff Foxworthy and Kathy Griffin.  He scored big with reviewers and audiences alike opposite Michael Jai White in the critically-lauded spoof comedy, Black Dynamite (Sony Pictures), last year’s big Sundance hit.  Tommy recently completed Chicago Pulaski Jones with Cedric the Entertainer. www.tommydavidson.net
